| To answer your noner, I too was confused as to why people shipped Sterek when I first stared watching. It took me till season 2 till I could really understand the interesting dynamic. It takes a little while but if you keep with it you might see better. I just started watching teen wolf and due to tumblr I was expecting to have a lot more 'feels' about Sterek, because I dig the whole werewolf thing and hypothetical dynamic between them. But I don't get it. They barely interact and to me it seems like a lack of chemistry, I'm kind of oblivious so who knows. Anyways why do you personally ship Sterek? While this is definitely a wonderful question, I don’t think I’ll be able to help you very much: as I’ve mentioned a couple of times on here, I’ve never actually watched the show itself! I really only engage with Teen Wolf fandom to the extent that it gives me delicious fanfic goodness. (Since so many of my favourite authors were writing in Teen Wolf fandom I decided to give it a try, and I ended up getting addicted!) I fell into Sterek because I’d seen the two of them discussed so much on tumblr, and I’ve ended up shipping them in fandom largely because of their fandom relationship.
But that means that I can’t be very helpful when it comes to reasons to ship the two in the actual show itself. Anyone have their own reasons that they want to share with nonners? :3

This cast is a bunch of nerds and I cannot get enough of it. Wouldn’t a fic where the Teen Wolf crew go to Comic Con and meet for the first time be awesome? Like, can’t you just see Derek being all UBERnerd and judging Stiles for being a Stormtrooper? Like he didn’t even build his costume, guy probably bought it off the starwars.com shop. At least Derek had to spend months crafting his. He even hand embroidered it, ffs, none of this plastic codpiece wearing bullshit.
Whereas Stiles is all ZOMG CAN I TAKE MY PHOTO WITH YOU?! YOU HAVE THE GREATEST JON SNOW COSTUME OF ALL TIME!
