#the worst thing about this is that those fucking chairs are the most blatant piece of mis en scene #john’s chair is comfortable and homely and is built for relaxtion #sherlock’s is pokey and postmodern and functional above all else #and they face each other - not a tv or a focal point in the room but each other  #as if they’re a pair #because they are a pair #mismatched and odd but #a pair all the same
